Wedding Rehearsal

Happy Tuesday peeps!! Moving right along with our Maui trip onto Part II!! Sooooo, I have a link for my wedding pictures, BUT they all have PROOF across each of them, and I'm not able to download or save them on my computer which complicates sharing them on my bloggy blog! I'm expecting my pictures to arrive in the mail any time this week, but I thought the next best thing would be to move onto the Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner.

I failed to mention in Part I that the estate we stayed in had three different (main) levels with plenty in-between. The first level consisted of the houses... the second level was a terrace, which is where we had the tent set up for the reception, and the third level was a cliff overlooking the ocean, which is where the ceremony was held. As I show you more pictures, you'll begin to see what I mean!

Man oh man... this group was HUGE. I had 8 girls in my line, and Mark had 6 guys... plus the flower girl, ring bearer, and our moms (being escorted to their seats). We didn't fancy it up with a wedding planner, so as you can imagine, it was pure chaos for us!! FUN, but chaotic trying to put any rhyme or reason to this rehearsal!
Walking down to the point where the ceremony took place

While we begun our rehearsal, my wonderful and prettiful Aunties and cousins worked on the arch for the ceremony. HARD labor putting together such a gorg arch, and I was oh so appreciative of each minute of their sweat!
Aunty One (middle); Megan and Aunty June (right)

Then it began!! As I tried cuing everyone to walk while my cousins sang, it was beginning to get out of hand. SO thanks to my Aunty One (pronounced OH-nay) she took charge and was able to help cue everyone in! As you can see in the middle picture, once we rehearsed 3 times, everyone released their energy in ONE cray cray pose!!
Our one and only wedding parlayyyyy

After rehearsal was done, we joined the rest of the family back up at the outdoor kitchen and proceeded on with our Thank You speeches to our wedding party and passed out their gifts!! Then it was all about the food! Our family was so generous with their time and helped in making our dinner a fantab one. My cousin Junior (bottom right corner with the hat and tongs) cooked his infamous chicken that was T O - D I E - F O R!!

Looking back at my pictures makes me miss my O'hana soooooo much!! BUT I'm having a blast re-living through our memories while sharing them with you guys!!

Your family looks like they would be so much fun to hang out with. I also LOVE that white dress you are wearing in the lower pictures.

Also, my husband thinks your husband's tattoos are awesome.

This all looks like so much fun! It is so wonderful to be surrounded by family. That is something I will NEVER forget about our wedding weekend. It was so special.

Also, thank you for your sweet comments on my blog yesterday! It meant so much. The blogging community can most definitely be there to support during difficult times. I'll have to remember not to run & hide ;)

Happy day today!

Love these photos, I especially love the one guys face in the picture above Junior. I cant see it very well, but look like a serious but funny face.. When John and I renewed our vows in Mexico. It was just the two of us and we had a wedding planner. She came with the resort!!. I was like thank god, all I want to do is drink and eat guacamole. I applaud you for not having a wedding planner with your big group. (insert clapping)
