Living a BLESSED life

Good day my lovely bloggettes! Yes... I am ALIVE... alive forever more! Things have been changing in my life, and I'm embracing the fast-pace change with wide open arms! Things you should know about the latest happs:

I started a new career, and I am now a TROJAN! I super duper miss being with the Beaver Nation, but I'll always bleed orange in my heart! I'm also very grateful for this new chapter in our lives, and am very prepared to FIGHT ON!

We are officially back in Cali... Cali... Cali (mentioned here a few weeks back)! We found a new home in the South Bay, meaning we're near and dear to our loved ones yet again.

I've been having a blast in a glass modeling my new business attire! Can't wait til we unpack boxes when I can really mix and match and wear different shoes (besides the two black pairs I've been rotating for over 2 weeks now)!

These are just snippets of what's been surfacing through mi vida loca. BUT I cannot wait to read and catch up on all of you gal pals! It might take me awhile to get back on track on the regular reading/posting... work has been consuming my energy, and so has moving! I definitely think about you guys A LOT, and I've missed you all so soooooo much!

High Five

Happy Friday!!!! Hope you guys have had a fab week, and an even better weekend! Here's my top 5!
  1. Superbowl Sunday was a success! I watched, cleaned, organized and some while Hubs and my BIL cooked, ate and slept!
  2. We brought home our second W this week against Utah. Yes, only 2, but that's 1 more than we had last week!
  3. Even with some rain and clouds, I managed (forced myself!) to take those dogs out every day this week!
  4. Our Beavs had an amazing signing day on Wednesday, and have an exciting 2013 recruiting class! We went to the football recruiting dinner and celebrated the newbies!
  5. Manu Samoa starts the Seven Tournament off in Vegas today playing Spain! Wish we were there to watch, but definitely will be in spirit rootin' our county on like donkey kong!
Link up with Lauren at From My Grey Desk for your top faves!

P.S. I love how each of my faves ends with an "!"... so over-used on this bloggy blog!!!!

Deep in the Heart of Texas!

Some of you peeps may know from this post that we spent a week in Texas with our football family for the Alamo Bowl! Thought I'd photo dump on you all and share the fun festivities we took part in! What a great week we had, and we were beyond blessed to take part in all the fun-ness goin' on!

And we're off to the airport!
One of the advantages to traveling with our football family is charter buses and plane rides. We zipped right through the airport to our own gate, on our own plane!

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency, which was quite fancy pants! What was even better was that the entire hotel was consumed by US! OSU peeps errrrrywhere!! And as it grew closer and closer to the game, there were more and more Beavs around us all.

Our trip to Sea World was pure bliss!!! First time evahhhh feeding and touching some dolphins!

Went to a Spurs game and had a blast!! I don't know the game of basketball nearly as much as I do with football, but I knew the basics to get through some hoots and hollers!

Down on the Riverwalk, we had a pep rally with the Beavs and Longhorns. What an experience that I thought I would only see on a movie like Varsity Blues! So much fun rootin' on our Beavs!

Following the pep rally, we had a talent show, and our Poly Beavs took it home with the haka (wearing Beaver ie's made by my fam)

The view at night from our hotel rooftop was breathe taking! Need I say more??

Day before the game, we had a luncheon pumping both teams up for the game the following day!

Best day of our trip!! Family came in, and we were off to the game!

Without getting too detailed, we lost... a sad loss. We were up the entire game, just to lose it during the 4th quarter. BUT, the Beavs had a great season, and a vast improvement from last year!

We flew home on our very own double decker plane! Soul plane in real life!!

One of the best highlights of the week?! Seeing my family got TV time during our game! See those white arrows?? That be them!

Our Texas trip was an unforgettable one! So proud of our Beavs, and so grateful for our football family!
