High Five for Life Lately

Happy Friday!! I know I've been absent yet again, BUT in all for good reasons! We were in the midst of packing, cleaning, moving, and all that jazz.

Besides the moving hustle and bustle, I've had quite a week! I'm linking up with Lauren at Lauren Elizabeth for a High Five for Friday, and catching you up with my life lately!

My Dad and Aunt helped us move this past weekend, which mean frequent stops to fuel up! I did some mighty fine fueling up with this chocolate-marshmallow-whipped-cream-with-sprinkles deliciousness!

While on our road trip, we made sure to stop and visit with the precious curly haired handsome lil' man! He got some bonding in himself with Moana.

:: three ::

We made it home to celebrate my sister's birthday on Monday! Sang her a sweet song to celebrate life, and indulged on the best Oreo ice-cream cake! Happy birthday month to her... wishing her nothing but the best because she IS the best!

:: four ::

We got a great welcome home from the family, including new bedding and curtains in our temporary room! I feel so humble knowing I have such an amazing family who continuously gives blessings.

Tagged along with this handsome Hubs of mine to USC while he met up with some athletic peeps. Meanwhile, my cousin and I toured the campus... and some!

Five Faves

It's been awhile since I've partaken in a H54F, but this week surely deserves some highlights!! Linking up with Lauren at Lauren Elizabeth (yes that's her new bloggy name!), here's my top five faves for a high five for Friday!

This week, we've had some glorious weather, which made running with the pups THAT much more enjoyable!

After Marley's rabies shot, he was forced to run some errands with me. Apparently he didn't like the back seat! Nonetheless, it was nice having some alone time with my Marls!

:: three ::

While I went to say toodles to my football family, I saw some fancy pants decor they got done! I CANNOT WAIT FOR FOOTBALL SEASON!!

:: four ::

As I said before, moving onto new beginnings is bitter sweet. Having to say farewell to some great relationships is always hard, BUT with great notes and reminders like these, it makes me excited to plan our trip back for a visit this summer!

:: five ::

My cousin snapped a photo of dinner when we make our way south... and it's been motivating me to pack up quick! I'll be getting down and dirty with these babies soon!

DIY Pinning... in a New Way

I am determined for this post to work! This is the second time I'm attempting to put the entire post together, being that the first one was a major FAIL once I hit "preview." If this one goes live, hallllllellllluuujjjjjjuerrrr! I'm not sure if you guys have already transitioned to the new Pinterest, but I sho did. The pinning features are pretty user-friendly, which I can appreciative... BUT to actually post and embed the pins on your blog... another story.

From what I spilled yesterday, I'm super anxious to get back in my arts and craft game once I'm settled! Hence the DIY inspiration I've been pinning lately!

High Five for Spring Break!

1. Hubs and I went to the football banquet this past weekend and wished the seniors off well.

2. Made this pretty lil' thang this week, and I'm lovin' it!

3. I finally made some time for new bright workout pieces!

4. The pups got a bath this week... which means no outdoors for a few days so they stay clean... which means they've been entertaining themselves indoors quite effectively.

5. (not pictured) Spring break officially begins at the end of today!!!!! WAHOOOOO!

Welcoming Friday with open arms today... WIDE open arms!! I hope we have as beautiful weather as we had yesterday because it was out of this world GORG!

If you haven't been informed, I found the best blowdryer ever!! Dries my hair in like less than  minutes. AND it was only $19.99 at Costco!

OSU revealed their new logo and uni's for this upcoming season!! I know it wasn't long ago we played in the Alamo Bowl, but I am SOOO ready for some football action!

Finally got my hurrrr trimmed, and it feels uhhhhmazingly healthy! It just took over a year to get errr' dunnnnn!

Got some sunshine this week and spent (almost) the entire day outdoors!

Chop Chop

Happy hump day to you lovies!! I'm celebrating Wednesday by linkup with my gooorl Michelle at The Vintage Apple for some fun pinning on Pinterest!

And inspiration this week for my pins.... HURRRRRR! Let's get real... or let ME get real! I haven't had any scissors come near this head of hair since January of 2012... January 4th, 2012 to be exact!! I remember this day vividly because I was telling my hair stylist, "THIS is the year I'm going to take care of my hair FO REAL... take vitamins... get my hair trimmed every few months..." blahhh blahh blahhhhh! And here I am... March of 2013, and I have YET to get anything chopped!

BUT I have been on my vitamin A-game taking 3 different ones every morning. NOW I need to chop just a few inches off so I can get rid of these grody-brody split ends and keep it healthy! I wanna keep my hair for as long as I can, so I bests hop on the train of hurr werrrrrk!

I have an appointment this week to get a trim, and I don't really have anything major or drastic in mind. I want to keep the length and add some layers! Which leads me to my pins on this fine Oh, How Pinteresting Wednesday!

H54F Birthday Faves

I'm partaking in High Five for Friday, birthday edition!! I've been having such a great birthday week, I decided to share some highlights with you guys! Linking up with Lauren at From My Grey Desk, here's H54F!

1. I was showered with gifts, cards that came through the mail, and shout outs on the phone, Skype, Facetime AND in person!
2. We had a lovely time Oregons' wineries we visited this past weekend! I totes would recommend em', especially to those who love a hearty red wine (like ME!).
3. I indulged in some tiramasu on my actual day of birth, which wasn't one bit disappointing!
4. Shopped til I dropped this week... and ending it with some H&M love this weekend!
5. I've been having a blast in a glass with my sister who's been here the entire week!

Loving these Five Faves

1. I've been making it a priority to get on my Vita-Veta-Vegamin game, taking a dose every morning! Another one of my 2013 resolutions that has been full effect starting this week! 
2. The cutest little boy in all America, my little nephew Ese, turned ONE this week! He's growing wayyy too fast :/
3. Laughed my life away as my man put on a show for me while busting a smooth move to ADORN by Miguel.
4. We had some phenominal weather this week, and the shadows came out!
5. Valentine's Day was delightful, especially when these were delivered to my door. BEST HUBS EVAHHH!
