I would love to invest more of my time in reading a good book... or in my case, hopefully 12 good books! Being that resolutions are more general, my goal (more specific and actionable) to achieving that resolution is to read at least one new book per month.
This month, I'm starting with one that's been sitting on my bookshelf since last year, which I've been dying to begin... The Voice of Knowledge. It came as a series of three books by the same author, Miguel Ruiz. One of the three books included in this package was The Four Agreements, which you can catch a recap I did here. The Four Agreements was very motivational and inspirational on how to live a life of needless suffering, and I assume the other two books are similar!
Now that I have book 1 started, I wanted to turn to you all and ask for any suggestions you may have in a good read! Hollah at me!!
And now, for my LLL's of the week!
LOVE
I love that I've been reading exactly the messages I've been needing lately... it's like God is looking out for me in the greatest times of need!
LEARN
I learned that reality is simply what we make it to be. If I have discouraging thoughts in my mind, then that's how my life will be... very discouraged and off-beat. BUT if I replace that can'ts, won'ts, and nevers with positive actions, my reality will be just that... POSITIVE!!
LAUGH
I laughed my bootay off when my little brother Facetimed me every day this week, with an opening line of "It's been so long since we talked... why did you ignore my Facetimes earlier?!" He facetimes me and wants to play games together from afar on our iPads, and wants to stay on the call so I can hear him! Oh brotherrrrrrr!!
What are the goods in your week? What have you loved, learned, and laughed about??

Okay. I have been reading the same book for 2 months...and I'm on page 11...I have had ZERO time for reading. I need to step my game UP!
Love you, giiiirl!

That's so awesome! I have had the same feeling about reading lately. I use to be a book-a-holic, and since I got married and started a new program for school I have had no time, but I love this goal!
If you want a good read any of David Baldacci's books are amazing! He has some really sentimental books but a majority of them are like CIA/ Secret service type. Any way's Happy New Year!
Hey girl!!!
Glad you have been getting lots of encouragement lately- its amazing how big of a difference it can make! As far as books are concerned- Emily Giffin is a great read for easy, light topics. I am currently reading The Life of Pi so I can see the movie. I also recommend John Grisham (law) and Janet Evanovich (Stephanie Plum series!)
Happy Monday and happy reading!
