Surprise Suprise!
I want to acknowledge the lives that were affected by one of the country's most horrific attacks on 9/11. Today marks the 11th year anniversary of such a tragic loss, which you can read more about here. May the Lord bless the families that are still grieving over their loved ones they lost, and our entire country for the pain we all suffered together. Be there for one another and love each other "just cause."
SOOOOOOO... notice anything new around herrr?!?! That's right.. I got a blog-over and I'm la la lovin' it!! My goooorl, Aubrey at The Kinch Life hooked me up with an adorbs face lift! Surprise #2 (as I gave away it today's post title...Surprise Surprise)... I debated on writing a 2nd post yesterday to boast in the glory, but thought I would swoon over the news today along with my new blog-over! Soooo guess what?!?! My BFF of all mankind, Lauren Conrad, answered my question on her blog! She's been keeping a Fashion Week Diary on her blog, which has been just splendid for all of us who aren't lucky enough to be there in person!
She opened the floor to questions on her Day 1 post, which I just had to comment on. I was just dying to know the inside scoop on how to keep updated with NYFW!! While getting my daily dose of LaurenConrad.com, I read her shout out to me as she answered my question! YABBADABBADOO!!

Victory Weekend!
Happy Monday FUNday! Hope your weekend was as fantab as mine was! We had family over (always a good time!), and we celebrated our season opener against Wisconsin with a W!! BIG news... this team has one of the best running back's in the universe, and our defense was on FIAHHHHHH! ... First time to stop the running back from not scoring a TD since 2010, and first time to stop him from running at least 100 yards in a game! Just makes us ooberly excited to start this football season and continue on this road to success. We just have to continue putting in the work!
See that BIG BOY, #77?? THAT'S MY BIL!! Don't stop get it get it!!
Enough football (for now), and onto my LLL's of the week:
LOVE
I love and appreciate that my family drives over 14 hours to visit us and come show their Beaver believer pride at football games!
LEARN
I learned to not take anyone or thing for granted... life is too short to not say I LOVE YOU each and every day of life.
LAUGH
I hysterically laughed when my little cousin asked if he can take one of our dogs home with him to "babysit" until his next visit, when he would bring them back to us! A heart of gold, I tell ya!

High FIVING Friday!
Hip hip hoorrrayyy for Friday! I am SO excited for this weekend... season opener for Beaver football (WOOP!!!), family is coming up for the game, and today's the day of birth of my lil' BIL, Michael! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG LITTLE UCE!! He's finally the legal age to drink with us at restaurants, gamble with us at casinos, and live la vida loca in VIVA Las Vegas!

We spent a beautiful Labor Day weekend with my MIL... went to church, ate, shopped, ate, and ate!

One of the sweet girls I work with gave me the sweetest card, Starbucks doodle travel mug and Starbucks gift card. She knows my caffinne habit TOO well!

On Labor Day, we skipped out on the typical BBQ and opted to watch some Beaver practice instead! Tomorrow is our season opener against No. 13 Wisconsin!! Tune into FX and root for the Beavs as we kick some Badger behind! GO BEAVS!!

To celebrate little big brothers birthday, we indulged in some nice chocolate birthday cake! YUMMMMM!!

Got my new reading glasses this week, and oh what a world of a difference. Seriously, I have never been so happy to read and see the computer screen SO clearly! Oh yea... and got my hurrr did ombre style!!

Farewell Aunty...
She is my grandmother's sister. The one to raise all of us in the family... The one to watch all the kiddos from infants to high school'ers... The one to show and remind us all of the Samoan Way of Life... The one to encourage us to remain humble, respectful, and to honor our parents... This beautiful woman is one of the oldest ladies in our family... my Aunty Tali. She's the one to leave us here in America today to be with her son and family in New Zealand. She is heavily on my mind, especially lately, and more as ever today. I think, "Did I visit her as much as I was able to?"... "Did I tell her I love her enough times today?"... and on, and on, and on.
I share this farewell with you all today my friends, to remind you to tell your loved ones that you love them... to visit your loved ones "just because"... to love, honor and respect your elders no matter if you think they're right or wrong. They may not always be around the corner... they may move away from you, or you away from them, or they can easily be called by our Lord to be with Him in heaven. Don't live life with regrets or questions unanswered.... it's never too late to love each other, and forgive one another!
